Edinburgh and Glasgow city councils are looking at ways of proving more space for riders and walkers to socially distance. The city councils are in discussions with Scottish Government’s Transport Scotland agency and cycle and footpath developers Sustrans.

There has a significant increase in cycling in Scotland since road traffic fell by 75% because of the lockdown.
