The Thames path in west London has been closed to cyclists and runners during the day, who have been asked to use alternative routes.

Walkers will still be able to use the river path at all times, and cyclists and runners asked to use the path only before 10am and after 6pm.

The prohibition measure being backed up by police and patrols by Hammersmith & Fulham Council wardens.
