Workplace parking levy features in Manchester plan to tackle NO2 levels

A workplace parking levy is among potential measures being considered by Manchester City Council to tackle unlawful air quality levels. The authority sees the levy as a “quick win” measure in tackling higher polluting motor traffic.

So far, Nottingham City Council is the only UK authority to operate a workplace parking levy, which was introduced in October 2011.
