Camden uses variable sign to combat rat-running

The London Borough of Camden has sought to cut off a rat-run used by through traffic during peak hours whilst minimising the impact to local people. It has done this by installing fast-acting variable signs at either end of a road at narrowing that controls a width restriction that has been in place for more than a decade.
