The UK government’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy aims to achieve tenfold growth in the UK’s public charging infrastructure by 2030 and will also introduce legislation to make chargepoints more reliable, accessible and user-friendly.
Ian Plummer, commercial director of online car marketplace Auto Trader, said the strategy is a move in the right direction, but that more immediate action is required.
