Google Maps is introducing extensive changes to its driver navigation app, said to be its ‘biggest update in more than a decade’.
The app, widely used for in-vehicle journey guidance, is being equipped with immersive navigation that redesigns the visuals and offers “more intuitive guidance.”
A “vivid 3D view” will depict buildings, highway and traffic control features, signage and nearby terrain.
