A multi-storey car park in Mexborough is to demolished as part of a £1.5m project to regenerate the South Yorkshire town’s marketplace.
City of Doncaster Council has approved plans to repurpose Mexborough's market hall in York Square.
The multi-storey car park will be demolished replace it with a surface level car park.
The plans are part of ongoing regeneration in the area being carried out with £12.5m of Levelling Up funding to.
