Over the last 12 months we have been looking over what we provide to our members and how we can best improve the charity. One of the significant visual changes you’ll see is our new branding and logo.
The last time the charity made a significant change to its branding was in 2011. When our old deep red logo was introduced along with the name change from Mobilise to Disabled Motoring UK. It represented a new chapter for the charity. It carried forward our heritage while reflecting a new change. It stood proudly on our magazines, campaigns, and events nationwide.
Our decision to move to new branding wasn’t about leaving the past behind, it is about building on our legacy and giving it a fresh, modern feel that truly represents our community today.
This fresh look is about celebrating how far we’ve come and it shows that Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) continues to move forward with this ever-evolving world.
You may have spotted our website is still using the previous branding, we’re still working on updating all our systems, so stay tuned!
The logo is designed to stand out across various print and digital platforms, helping us connect with a wider audience while staying true to our roots. We chose a design which will attract the public, the members and organisations, and encourage them to take note of our campaigning work.
You may have noticed that we now have a new image alongside our name. This icon represents the journey towards a destination, with the vision of a reliable and trusted disabled bay available at the end. You might also recognise it as part of the logo from our Park Access accreditation.
The icon reinforces our message: We’re committed to ensuring that every journey from home to destination is accessible for everyone.
