Debt resolution specialist DCBL has appointed Jamie Gibson as its new managing director.
Gibson joins DCBL from Water Plus, a commercial water retail business serving over 350,000 customers. He rose to the role of managing director for corporate customers, focusing on operational efficiency, culture, and strategic growth. During his decade at Water Plus, he was instrumental in team recruitment, training and back office operations.
Prior to his role at Water Plus, Gibson was the head of debt, business services at Severn Trent Water, progressing from a customer service role to strategic positions in debt management over eight years. He began his career in the Royal Navy, serving for eight years as a weapons engineer.
Gibson said: “DCBL has established a strong position across a variety of sectors, including parking, commercial and residential property and the automotive industry, and it continues to grow across further verticals. The business’s ambition to expand into new sectors really resonated with me.
“We want to expand our presence in sectors such as utilities, energy, and telecoms, and continue to enhance the customer experience through technology and innovation.”
