The campaign to reinstate an Open Access direct rail link between Shropshire and London has gained further momentum, with Transport for Wales (TfW) officially backing the proposal by Wrexham, Shropshire and Midlands Railway (WSMR).
The announcement comes as the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) is expected to soon deliver its verdict on the application.
