The management of around 20 local authority car parks in Cornwall will be taken over by a private sector operator.
Cornwall Council has appointed Corserv to operate the sites on a five-year lease.
The council decided has turned to the private sector because, unlike local authorities, they are able to use automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras to enforce terms anc conditions on car parks.
