 
			
			A proposed increase in parking fines on the Channel Island of Guernsey is being contested by two deputies.
David De Lisle and Chris Blin say the increase is unfair and puts pressure on people already struggling with rising costs. They have proposed an amendment to an order agreed earlier this year that means the lowest fine would go from £40 to £65. The change had been approved by 34 to two in January.
