Parking charges are to be introduced at a number of public parks in Leeds.
Visitors to five sites will be now charged to use car parks that were previously free.
Leeds City Council said charging was the only viable option to fund improvements to its parks given a budget shortfall. The charges will be implemented despite a consultation showing opposition to the proposals.
