Retailer ASDA has switched off more than a 100 electric vehicle charging points at its stores after it ended a partnership with chargepoint operator bp pulse
New figures from the RAC reveal that supermarket chaib has cut the number of EV chargers at its supermarkets by more than two thirds.
Asda had 165 devices at the beginning of 2023, but now offers just 46 chargers. This means it now has working EV chargers at 22 stores, just 2% of its estate.
