Kent County Council has signed a 15-year contract for Go-Ahead London to takeover running the Kent Thameside Fastrack BRT service, including introducing an all- electric service within the next year.
From November to next April a fleet of 28 fully electric Irizar ie-Tram buses built in Spain will replace the existing diesel- powered vehicles on the route that covers Dartford and Gravesham.
