Zapmap charging statistics show rate of chargepoint installation has increased by over 80%

There are more than 44,000 public charging devices installed across the UK, as of the end of June 2023. This represents overall year-on-year growth of 36%.

Chargepoint mapping service Zapmap’s mid-year statistics for chargepoint installations in 2023 detail the growth of the UK’s public charging infrastructure. The statistics demonstrate that the rate of chargepoint installation has increased significantly.
