£12m Saltburn park & ride scheme mooted

The case for developing a park & ride scheme is being considered by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council as a local implementation plan for transport up to 2030 recently approved by cabinet members.

The park & ride for Saltburn is described as being at the ‘concept’ stage. It would require external funding and a financial contribution from a developer, with the scheme potentially costing £12m.
