Transport for London (TfL) believes that Elizabeth Line passenger numbers are heading towards the upper end of the range which was provided when forecasts were updated earlier this year.

Before the pandemic, the line was forecast to carry about 200 million passengers per year. The revised forecasts have a wide range, from 130 million to 170 million, to reflect the uncertainties of the last two years.
