Liverpool City Council has granted planning permission for Everton Football Club’s new 52,888-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock on the waterfront, a 30-minute walk from the city centre. Consultant Mott MacDonald has provided Everton with transport planning advice on the development for four years. The matchday transport strategy will feature road closures around the stadium; a fan waiting area at the nearest train station; and shuttle buses to and from Liverpool city centre and Bootle....
