Norwich City Council and Norfolk County Council look likely to sell their remaining stake in Norwich Airport. The councils sold 80.1 per cent of their shares in the airport to Omniport Norwich Ltd in 2004, which was subsequently bought by Regional and City Airports Ltd. Regional and City has now approached the councils about buying the remaining shares. Norfolk says a revised confidential offer last month demonstrates value for money.
