A recent spate of storefront crashes in which vehicle drivers smashed through the front of retail or office space windows led barrier manufacturer McCue to look into the causes and work on a solution.

Using data from the Storefront Safety Council, McCue discovered that driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs caused only 17% of storefront crashes, while operator or pedal error caused 56% of crashes.
