Electric buses are to be trialled on a rural bus route in Moray, northern Scotland. The buses will operate between Aberlour and Forres via Knockando, a new route serving areas currently without a service. The project is funded by the European INTERREG North Sea region project ‘Green passenger transport in rural areas’. HITRANS, the Highlands and Islands Transport Partnership, is commissioning a marketing consultant to promote the service. ...
