Preferred route for Hereford bypass

Herefordshire Council has selected a preferred route for a western bypass of Hereford, following a consultation on seven route options this spring.

The road would connect the A49 trunk road north of the city round with the A465 south-west of the city.

Development work will now be undertaken on the red route, with a further consultation on the proposal later this year.
