A judicial review case was heard in the High Court this week into the secretary of state for local government’s decision to make regulations that will see Dorset’s nine local authorities abolished and replaced by two new unitaries, one covering Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch, and the other covering the remainder of Dorset county.
