Mark Moran
13 October 2016

The European Commission has published a package of measures that will require 10% of all parking spaces in new non-residential buildings to feature an electric vehicle (EV) charge point.

The requirement applies to buildings with more than 10 parking spaces, and covers existing non-residential buildings that are undergoing major renovation work.

The new rules would come into effect on 1 January 2025.
