A new rail station in west Edinburgh will open on 11 December. Edinburgh Gateway, located on the Edinburgh-Fife line between South Gyle and Dalmeny, will provide an interchange with the Edinburgh tram, enabling passengers from Fife and places such as Perth, Dundee and points further north to access the airport without entering central Edinburgh.
