Strathclyde Partnership for Transport has awarded a contract for the supply of a new fleet of driverless trains to operate on the 4ft gauge Glasgow Subway. The £200m contract for the supply of trains, signalling and other equipment has been made to a consortium of Stadler Bussnang AG and Ansaldo STS.
