Two men have been charged with assaulting a pair of civil enforcement officers while on patrol in Woodford Green in the London Borough of Redbridge.
The incident occurred on 20 August when the driver and his passenger attacked a CEO as he was issuing a penalty charge notice. His colleague was also injured during the incident.
The assault, which took place near Woodford Tube station at 2.40pm, was witnessed by several bystanders including children.
