Councillors in Solihull are being urged to drop plans to replace signal-controlled pedestrian crossings with informal courtesy crossings as part of a public realm scheme.

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council plans to replace two signalised crossings with informal ‘courtesy crossings’ as part of the Solihull Gateway project in the town centre, focused on Station Road and Poplar Road.
