The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) has produced new guidance that calls for the increasing use of 20mph zones in residential areas.
ACPO’s National Policing Lead on Roads Policing, chief constable Suzette Davenport, said: “Speeding remains an issue of high concern, particularly in residential areas or near facilities for young or vulnerable people.
