Cambridgeshire guided busway contractor BAM Nuttall has agreed to pay the county council £33m to settle a long-running dispute between the two parties.
BAM will repay £33m of the £117.7m it has received from the council for the construction of the scheme. The settlement means the council will ultimately have paid the contractor £84.7m to build the busway, compared with the original price of £83.9m.
