Transport for London has appointed engineering consultancies Ramboll and Parsons Brinckerhoff to undertake design work for £200m of schemes to rebuild or refurbish structures and tunnels. One of three packages of work is the improvement of the Hammersmith Flyover; the other two include the Highbury Corner Bridge and the Chiswick Bridge. Principal contractors for the schemes will be appointed in March via Early Contractor Involvement contracts.
