Plans to almost double the capacity of London Luton Airport have received support in a public consultation. There was a 65% approval rating among the 1,360 responses to the proposal to increase the airport’s capacity from 9.5 million to 18 million passengers a year. Some 28% of respondents objected and 7% were undecided.
