I was very pleased to read that Centro is planning a rail link to the proposed Birmingham Interchange station on HS2 (‘Rail link to HS2 interchange?’ LTT 07 Dec). Without such a link, the value of building the HS2 station has to be seriously questioned.
I am only surprised that it has taken over two years for such a good idea to emerge.
