Bus and coach manufacturer Optare has unveiled results for the six months to September that it said revealed a “remarkable turnaround” for the company. The results saw earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amoritisation (EBITDA) up for the first time in three years, by £146,000. Year-on-year UK market registrations increased by 46% in the six months and export sales reached a record £10.5m in the same period.
