THE COURT case against a UK North bus driver who crashed into a mobile crane causing the death of a man has been dropped after the Crown Prosecution Service decided to not proceed with the case.
Krzysztof Ociepa had been accused of causing death by dangerous driving after the incident 18 months ago. The accident directly led to the demise of UK North after north west traffic commissioner Beverley Bell suspended its operators’ licence, forcing it into insolvency.
