Go Ahead has appointed Patrick Verwer as its new managing director of London Midland, moving up from his position as managing director of rail development with the group.
Alex Hynes (right) takes over his previous role, after being at London Midland as commercial director since November 2007 when Govia started operating the franchise.
Prior to that, Hynes was a key member of Go Ahead’s bid team and has also worked in rail consultancy and regulation.
