Herefordshire Council plans to hold an advisory ‘community poll’ on whether to pursue a controversial relief road for the city of Hereford.
The idea for a postal ballot on the road has been put forward by the Conservative-controlled council but the final decision to hold a poll – and what questions to be asked – will rest with the new administration elected on 5 May. A summer poll is currently envisaged.
