CPT report calls for urgent action

Coaches should be allowed to drive in bus lanes, argues the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT).

The CPT states London’s Theatreland permits the use of bus lanes by coaches, which helps reduce congestion around the capital.

A new CPT report called Britain’s Coaches: Delivering Prosperity to You says coach tourism is worth £2.35 billion to Britain’s economy and could be worth even more with investment in better facilities by local government.
