The Environment Agency has all but banned staff using flights for work travel in England and Wales and to Eurostar destinations. Air travel will only be permitted under “exceptional circumstances” as part of the organisation’s policy to cut its carbon footprint. The organisation says it has reduced business car mileage by 24% over the last four years.
