Tube Lines’ £327m claim against London Underground for costs arising from delays to the Jubilee Line and Northern Line upgrades has been summarily dismissed by PPP adjudicator Alex Chorlton QC. In his judgement Chorlton made a series of damning statements about Tube Lines’ conduct stating variously that its grievances against London Underground had “an air of unreality”, were a “distortion” and “lacked credibility”.
