Joan Aitken, the Scottish traffic commissioner has welcomed the news that Strathclyde Partnership for Transport is to expand it bus warden scheme to Inverclyde.
The scheme was first launched 18 months ago in Paisley and has since been expanded elsewhere within SPT’s area. The wardens are tasked with ensuring that buses are operated in accordance with registered timetables and meet the standards demanded by the traffic commissioner.
