Greater Manchester PTE has launched a new campaign this week to encourage more people to try travelling on a tram over the festive season.
More than 200,000 copies of a ‘Try the Tram’ leaflet are being posted to residents living near the Metrolink lines, offering discounts on leading high street brands with a valid tram ticket. GMPTE has also arranged for carol singers from the University of Manchester Chorus to perform for passengers on the trams all this week.
