ftr hailed a success in Leeds as patronage grows by 10%
First’s ftr in Leeds was celebrated as a success last week when chief executive Moir Lockhead named an ftr vehicle ‘Spirit of Leeds’ and has agreed to run a 17-strong fleet of the tram-style vehicles.
The route 4 running between Pudsey and Leeds city centre made its debut in Leeds last January and entered full service in June. Since then the number users on the route has risen by 10%.
