Rail industry achieves landmark 90% punctuality, but ATOC is not celebrating

The rail industry has reached a significant landmark with annual punctuality hitting 90% for the first time since the industry started using the Public Performance Measure (PPM) in June 2000. Latest figures released by Network Rail show that exactly 90% of trains ran on time in the year to April 26.
