Alstom win new contract for LUAS

Alstom has been awarded a €15m contract to maintain 18 new Citadis trams for Dublin’s LUAS tram system, for five years.

The trams are currently being built by Alstom in France, and will arrive early next year for use on the LUAS?Green Line. The existing 14 trams will be transferred from the Green to the Red line.  Alstom supplied and maintains the existing fleet of 40 trams which have been in service since 2004, and has just completed an extension programme on the Red Line...
