NZ firm buys Town & City Parking­

One of the UK’s leading retail parking companies has been acquired by New Zealand firm Car Parking Technologies (CPT) for £9m. Town & City Parking (TCP) operates more than 1,000 sites across the UK, and its client base includes ASDA, Sainsbury’s, British Waterways, the Excel Conference Centre, London and Edinburgh City Council.

TCP, formed in 2002, is still being run by its existing management team, headed by previous owner Bernie Dickson.
