Pilot calculates work-related CO2 emissions

The government is developing guidance on how organisations can calculate greenhouse gas emissions from business and commuter travel. A pilot travel carbon accounting tool has also been launched alongside the guidance.

The guidance, to be published by Department for Transport and Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, will provide instructions on how to source work-related travel data, and calculate and report emissions to recognised reporting standards.
