National Park swaps free parking for P&D

North York Moors installs Metric Aura machines at eight car parks

The North York Moors National Park will switch from free parking to pay & display parking at the eight car parks on 27 March. The park has a maximum charge of £4 a day and £2.20 for two hours.

Metric Parking won a tender to supply the car parks with its Aura mains and solar-powered pay & display machines which are currently being installed to go ‘live’ when the  holiday season begins in the National Park.
