MP warns of £15 surcharge on parking fines

Tory MP Greg Knight has warned the government is set to introduce a £15 surcharge on parking offences and other fixed penalty offences. The East Yorkshire MP said that the proposed “victims’ surcharge” fee is to be forced on anyone receiving a fixed penalty fines for minor misdemeanours including littering, exceeding the speed limit, or even for having dirty car windows.
